If you’re looking for some fun for your kids over the April school holidays, Slamin Tennis has holiday tennis programs that cater to all ages and abilities! With Slamin, they’ll learn new skills, meet new friends, get active, and let some energy out under the supervision of our friendly and qualified coaches.

Looking for a fun and active way to keep the kids engaged during the school holidays? Join our April School Holiday Tennis Program at Doncaster Tennis Club.
Our clinics are designed for players of all ages and levels, from beginners through to teenage players and adults. Sessions focus on skill development, match play, fitness, and plenty of fun on court.

Fun and Friendship
During school holiday tennis clinics, the focus is on fun and good times. Your child/ren will be supervised by qualified coaches and will be kept entertained with a busy schedule. We encourage children to support each other and enjoy themselves while they build their agility and tennis skills.
Everything’s Included
Drop your kids off each day and know that your child is going to have an amazing time all the way through to pick up. All you need to do is pack your child’s meals, snacks, and drinks. Our expert tennis coaches will deliver a world-class tennis program.
Example Program Outline
Within a 3-hour clinic, students will complete activities with a minimum of two coaches, as this allows for a different perspective and teaching style. Each day’s learning outcomes and activities are different, and both weeks are different, to ensure progressions day to day. Here is an example of the program schedule. Times will vary depending on which session time you book.
Recess/Morning Break
We have allowed up to 30 minutes for a break in activities. This allows children to have a snack to recharge their energy levels and also gives a mental cognitive break from concentration. More importantly, it also gives the kids a chance to build off-court friendships with their fellow tennis players, mixing with kids of all ages during this time.
Children will be fully supervised by our Coaches who will also encourage and facilitate communication and social skills. We find a quick, fun table tennis battle between the kids is always popular!
The Perfect School Holiday Activity
Why spend the holidays in front of the TV? Get out and enjoy a fun and active school holiday activity!
School holiday tennis clinics are held during each school break period, in all weathers (indoor activities are scheduled if it is raining).
Often, as part of the programs, an in-house Round Robin Tournament is also run, allowing children to play against other kids with similar abilities. This is a great way for children to get an introduction to tournament and competition play.
FAQs
The simple answer is no, our children normally don’t want to leave! With a mixture of technique skill-based learning, games, and morning tea, 3 hours goes very fast.
- Please bring your own racquet (if you have one), otherwise, we can provide it for you

- A small snack for recess. Due to some students having allergies, the sharing of food will not be permitted and will be closely supervised.
Slamin School Holiday Programs cost $65 per day. Book one day or multiple days.
