If you’re looking to build your tennis game, adult coaching classes are available at the club on a weekly basis. These sessions are suited to both competition-level and social players, and include the four key areas of player development; focus; technical, tactical, mental and movement.

All coaching is lead by a qualified and passionate coach and classes are designed to be enjoyable so you can improve your tennis playing in a fun and positive environment.

HOW IT WORKS

Programs For All Skill Levels

Novice
Our novice program is suitable for players who have never picked up a racquet or who haven’t stepped on a court in years. You’ll learn all the fundamentals as well as how the scoring works. Join our program and connect with players at a similar skill level.

60 Minutes

Intermediate
If you have played tennis before and understand how to serve the ball, return a serve and keep up play, this program is ideal. The training we provide will help you advance from a strong beginner to a great mid-level player.

Advanced
If you’re confident about your playing abilities but want to be able to perform better at a competition level, join our advanced tennis coaching program.

Fitbit Cardio Tennis is a tennis workout program catering for all fitness levels, which brings together a variety of cardio workouts and a range of fun tennis drills, all to a high-energy soundtrack. The program is focused on leading a healthy, fun and active lifestyle.

Who is Fitbit Cardio Tennis for?

Everybody! Every Fitbit Cardio Tennis session is open to players of all ages and abilities.

How long does a Fitbit Cardio Tennis session last?

Each session ranges between 45 – 60 minutes, depending on the session you book into.

Do I need to be good at tennis to participate?

The best thing about Fitbit Cardio Tennis is you do not have to be good at tennis to get involved. It doesn’t even matter if you’ve never played before.

Your coach is trained to mix up the activities to cater for all skill and fitness levels, so while it’s great for beginners, more experienced tennis players will also get a great workout.

What equipment do I need to play?

  • A tennis racquet (if you don’t have one you are welcome to borrow one of our racquets)
  • Your favourite workout gear
  • Trainers (or acceptable footwear). Call ahead if you are not sure.
  • Water bottle and/or sports drink
